Description

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a synthetic copolymer that stands out for its strength, durability, heat resistance, and solubility in limonene, a solvent derived from lemon peel that is easily accessible.

HIPS filaments are mainly used as a support material, but due to their performance, they also remain an excellent choice for printing models that require robustness and resistance.

Note: HIPS tends to undergo slight shrinkage. It is recommended to print this material only with a 3D printer equipped with an enclosed chamber.

It is also advisable to set the distance between the support and the model to 0, slow down the first contact layer, and disable the fan to optimize adhesion to the main material.
